According to me, No.
I took the JEE Advanced exam in 2017 as well as 2018 and qualified both the times. So, I think I am qualified to answer this.
JEE Advanced 2016 was unarguably the toughest paper of all times. This can be understood clearly with the rank v/s marks statistics of 2016:
Around 50% marks fetched a rank below 1000!
Now, the coaching institutes predicted a even tougher question paper for JEE Advanced 2017.
They were proved to be wrong.
IIT Madras had set a much easier question paper(especially Paper-1), as a result of which the students scored a lot of marks and thanks to the bonus marks awarded, around 7000 students scored above 200 marks out of a total of 366 marks.
Here are the marks v/s rank statistics:
Coming to JEE Advanced 2018, It was conducted completely in online mode for the first time. So, there were a lot of speculations about the pattern of the question paper.
And yet again, IIT Kanpur came up with the new numerical based questions which surprised everyone.
Although the question paper was of medium difficulty level, the marks obtained by the students on average went down considerably. To give you an idea, a student with 200 marks out of a total of 360 secured a rank around 1500.
So, You see, there is no fixed trend in the difficulty level of the question paper. JEE never fails to surprise. You can neither predict nor expect the difficulty level of JEE for the forthcoming years and if you attempt to do so, you will be proved wrong.
I would rather suggest you to work hard and give your best shot at
JEE Advanced, rather than speculating and predicting its difficulty in the coming years.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
